Homemade burger recipe with crispy bacon and potato bun from Gladys

Ingredients for burgers:

  • Minced beef – 600 g
  • Interfine salt
  • Black pepper
  • Nutmeg

  • mashed potatoes – 100 g.
  • Sour milk – 40 g.
  • Sugar – 40 g.
  • Yes’ – 7 g.

  • warm water – 140 cc.

Step by step of potato bread:

1. Put flour, salt, sugar and milk in a bowl. Make a hole in the center and put the mashed potatoes, eggs, warm water and yeast. Mix the liquid ingredients in place and also add the dry ingredients. When the dough is ready, add soft butter and knead. This time it looks like the dough has fallen… but be careful! you need to keep kneading so as not to add more flour. When the dough is smooth, put it in a buttered bowl and cover with cling film to rise for 1 hour.

2. Place the dough on an oiled surface, gently deflate with your hands and divide into 8 equal buns. Bollar everyone so that the union of the dough is down and that they are equal.

3. Oil two ovens.

4. Prepare 4 buns on each plate so that they are apart from each other (because they will grow) and slowly flatten. Cover with cling film and let rise until the buns have doubled in size, 45 to 60 minutes. At the end of the proof time, preheat the oven to 180 °.

5. Brush with butter and sprinkle with seeds if you want. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly golden.. Remove from oven.

6. They can be stored tightly wrapped at room temperature for a few days or so freezer for 2 months.

1. Cut the onion into small cubes
