Province of Burgos, star protagonist in the Alicante Gastronomic Fair – Burgos

Alicante Gastronómica, IV Meeting of the Mediterranean Lifestyle, will be held on September 23 and 26 and products from Burgos will have a special role when they land in the event as Provincial guest with Burgos Alimenta, agri-food promotion brand of the Provincial. . During the four days of intensive work, the food producers from Burgos who will be present at the Burgos Alimenta exhibitor (Hall 2) will be: Embutidos de Cardeña, Morcillas el Revillano, Bodega Palacio de Lerma and Arlanza Denomination of Origin. Each of them will have the opportunity to market their production directly to the public. In Hall 1, thousands of visitors and professionals will be able to enjoy the “Food Truck Burgos Alimenta”, which will offer Burgos suckling lamb hamburgers, Burgos black pudding with Protected Geographical Indication (PGI), Hispano Breton Foal meat and wagyu meat. In addition, Bodegas Palacio de Lerma and Hacienda del Ternero will have their locations in the Wine Tunnel (Pavilion 1).

Famous chefs in the province will be in charge of bringing Burgos products and cooking techniques to Alicante Gastronómica with different presentations. The protagonists will be Ricardo Temiño, from the restaurant La Fábrica (Burgos); Nuria Leal, from the restaurant Las Baronas (Santa Cruz de Salceda); Óscar García, from the restaurant El Carmen (Burgos); Antonio Arrabal, from the restaurant La Jamada (Burgos); Alejandro Serrano, Michelin Star 2022, from Alejandro Serrano restaurant (Miranda de Ebro) and Juan Antonio González, from La Favorita restaurant (Burgos). These last two will be in charge of preparing the food starting on Friday, September 23, at a meal hosted by the president of the Council, César Rico. For his part, Ricardo Temiño will prepare the food provided by Burgos Alimenta on Saturday 24 for the delegates of the 1st Potato Omelette Congress.

On Friday, the Hispano-Breton foal meat hamburger workshop will take place, led by the Burgos Association of Hispano-Breton Foal Meat Breeders, with a craft beer tasting starring Cerveza Mica (Aranda de Douro).

On the other hand, Saturday will be the day with the biggest activities with the wine “With 5 feelings” by sommeliers Albanely Rosso and Álvaro González; the presentation of the Arlanza Denomination of Origin by its president, Ramiro García; a workshop on alchemy and tasting of distillates from Burgos, given by Bitoren Aguirre, director of the Reino de Castilla Distillery (Poza de la Sal); the taste “between the land of Ribera del Duero and Arlanza” again by sommeliers Albanely Rosso and Álvaro González; with the presentation of IGP Morcilla de Burgos by its president Roberto Da Silva.

Alicante Gastronómica is preparing to celebrate its fourth edition, where the province of Burgos, under the umbrella of the name Burgos Alimenta, will attract all the attention with many activities. Everything, in an area of ​​36,000 square meters divided in two pavilions to accommodate more than 250 exhibitors and two main stages.
